The Honorable Randall Hufstetler
Judge, 300th District Court
The Honorable Randall Hufstetler was elected in 1998 to the 300th District Court in Brazoria County which specializes in hearing family law cases including divorce, custody disputes, enforcement actions, Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS), and paternity actions, and felony criminal cases. He has served as the local Presiding Judge in 2002, 2004, 2010 and 2014.
Prior to taking the bench, Judge Hufstetler served Brazoria County as First Assistant District Attorney and was previously in private practice with a focus in family law.
Judge Hufstetler is an active member of the Brazoria County Bar Association, and frequent author and speaker of Texas State Bar sponsored continuing legal education. He is a member of the faculty of the National Family Law Trial Institute held each year at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
