Judge, 328th District Court
Judge Ronald Pope is the presiding judge of the 328th District Court (2003 – Present), in Fort Bend County, Texas. Admitted to the Texas Bar in 1974, Judge Pope is a graduate of Lamar University and University of Texas School of Law.
He is a member of Phi Delta Phi, State Bar of Texas, National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, Texas District Court Judges Association, State Bar of Texas Family Law Section and Judicial Section, State Bar College, University of Texas Alumni Association, Fort Bend County Bar Association, Fort Bend County Fair Association, Needville Athletic Booster Club, and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. A proud conservationist, Judge Pope is a member of The Cousteau Society, Texas Nature Conservancy, Fort Bend County Museum Association, and the Coastal Conservation Association of Fort Bend County. He is also a member of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and Rose-Rich Area Chamber of Commerce.
Judge Pope has received a number of honors including Texas CASA "Lone Star Proud for Kids Judge of the Year" in 2007 and the Mental Health America of Texas Bell Ringer Award for Fort Bend County in 2008.
