Corey Benbow

Young Adult Leader & Advocate

Since 2009, Corey Benbow has served as Chief Executive Officer of The Tax Box, LLC in Austin. Corey also served as a Youth Program Director from 2008 until March 2011 at Via Hope where he developed and implemented training curriculum for youth mental health consumers, identified and collaborated with other youth development and drug/alcohol prevention programs and agencies at the local and state levels, and provided guidance and training for program staff and local and state program partners. Corey also served as a Youth Specialist at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services where he provided focused outreach and coordination services for at-risk youth and those transitioning from foster care.

Corey received a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts and Science with a Human Services Concentration from Texas State University.
