Representative Stephanie Klick
Ex-Officio member appointed by the Speaker of the House Representative, Texas House of Representatives
Elected in November of 2012 to House District 91, Representative Stephanie Klick serves the cities of Haltom City, Richland Hills, North Richland Hills, Watauga and a portion of Fort Worth. Previously, Rep. Klick Rep. Klick served as Chairman of the Tarrant County Republican Delegation for six years. During the 84th Legislative Session, she was appointed to serve on the Committees of Human Services, and Pensions.
Rep. Klick is a native Texan with strong ties across the district. She attended school in Birdville ISD and later at St. John the Apostle Catholic School, both located in House District 91. As a youth, Stephanie was a candy striper at North Hills Medical Center in North Richland Hills, formerly known as Glenview Hospital, where she developed a passion for nursing. In total, Rep. Klick has over 30 years of nursing experience.
After working her way through college and graduating from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Rep. Klick returned to North Hills Medical Center where she would rise to the position of nursing supervisor before leaving to become a nursing consultant. She coordinated the care of the catastrophically injured and served as a compliance consultant for long-term care facilities for the developmentally disabled.
She and her husband Don have been married 32 years, have four children, and are proud grandparents of four grandchildren.
